All forms must be read/signed and filled out prior to Child attending the program. May bring on their first day back.

The YMCA Child Development Center is a licensed facility for children 6 weeks through 5 years of age. Our center has a play-based philosophy, which fosters the individual child’s social, emotional, physical and cognitive development. Our professional staff creates an environment that promotes learning in the areas of art, science, math and literacy.Our center embraces early language development through our music, yoga programs. Preschool children participate in weekly special activities such as swim lessons, library time, gymnastics and music classes. Children also have daily opportunities to express themselves creatively through play in our “centerbased” classrooms. Our Preschool program uses Creative curriculum.

We provide each child with a hot and nutritious breakfast and lunch as well as a healthy afternoon snack each day. Family involvement is a crucial part of each child’s success in our preschool. Therefore, we keep parents informed with monthly parent involvement activities, newsletters and volunteer opportunities.

Registration is accepted on a first-come/first-serve basis. An annual registration fee of $40 is required per school year for each participant in our child care programs. Weekly rates are listed below:

*Additional $10 per month for gymnastics
*Member rate requires a family membership.

**All payments must be on automatic drafts. Drafts will be drawn every Friday for the following week.

*** Part-time days must be consistent each week. All schedule changes must be approved by the Director.

Closings

Our child care and after-school programs will be closed on the following holidays:

  • Memorial Day
  • Labor Day
  • 4th of July
  • TBD: Staff Development Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Eve
  • Christmas Day
  • New Year’s Day  
  • New Year's Eve 

PARENT NIGHT OUT
Enjoy a night out while the kids have a night in with friends at the Y. We will keep them busy with fun activities while you relax, have date night, get that project done, run errands or just take a nap! We will provide dinner and hopefully send them home tuckered out.
Ages 18 months - 12 years.
Time/Date: Saturday, 5-9 p.m., Jan. 14, Feb. 11, March 11, April 8

Fee: $20 per child (open to all-you do not have to be a Y
member.)


KICK OFF TO SUMMER
The Y will host this fun, family event including a grill out of burgers and hotdogs for our Child Development program parents. Join us for a chance to go over your child’s evaluations, tour the classrooms, do a hands on art activity with the kids and play some family games. Includes Child Development Center & Afterschool program.
